After an eventful day at Pulau Ketam, we adjourned to KL proper and Bukit Bintang, where we stayed at Hotel Imperial at Bukit Bintang. I had stayed there once before and found the room very decent, luxurious even, and cheap. Our room this time was a corner room though which had no windows but which cost slightly more than the last one. It was ok, I guess, but not as good as the first. Unfortunately, I lost most of the pictures of the room, except for the ones where we were drying out jerseys in anticipation of the Champions League Final later in the night...
Dinner was at Chinatown and comprised of Hor Fun, the pictures of which are gone as well!!! Could we make do with a cat who was fast asleep amidst all the bustle, oblivious to what was one of the densest and busiest night spots in KL?
Dinner was not that satisfying, which more or less vindicates the loss of those particular pictures, so we stopped at one of the roadside food carts which are ubiquitous in central KL, where we ordered beef, chicken and sotong skewers.
As well as some sweet, traditional snacks in case we got hungry in the night...
All too soon, it was time for the Champions League Final. If you know anything about football, you would know from our jerseys, which team I support, as well as the final score. Which is why I'm not writing more....
